12-12-12 The Concert for Sandy Relief
大型の温帯低気圧「サンディ」で大きな被害が出たアメリカ・ニューヨークで１２月１２日ポール・マッカートニー、ブルース・スプリングスティーンなどの大御所が出演して被災者支援のチャリティー公演が開かれることになりました。
チャリティー公演「１２―１２―１２」は、マンハッタンのマジソンスクウェアガーデンで開かれます。
ポール・マッカートニーやスプリングスティーンのほか、ジョン・ボン・ジョビ、カニエ・ウェスト、ビリー・ジョエル、ザ・フー、アリシア・キーズ、ロジャー・ウォーターズの出演が決定しています。
主催者によると、業界からは高い関心が寄せられており大物アーティストがさらに加わる見通しだそうです。
コンサートの収益は、サンディの被災者を支援しているロビンフッド救援基金に寄付されます。
チケットの価格や販売方法などについては後日発表予定。
